  ABSTRACT:
We will go through the setting of spline-functions, their duals, their best approximation, interpolating splines, checking existing MATLAB code going back to the master thesis of Stephan Kanjo (or the work of Oakley/Cunninham/Little), but also present in many papers on irregular sampling (by Aldroubi, Groechenig, Schwab, Unser, Garcia, W.Sun, Grip, and MANY others). It is planned to produce "on the fly" a set of M-files that could serve anytime later as a mini-tutorial. Similar material should be also done (once more and later on) during the image and signal analysis course of this semester.
