Strobl is a very nice village in the lake region of the province of
Salzburg and has proven to be a stimulating and very pleasant
conference site.
Our previous conferences were devoted to the topics
Sampling Theory and Applications (2003) and
Modern Methods of
Time-Frequency Analysis (2005) and have attracted about 100 - 130
participants. Since these
conferences were marked by a congenial and productive atmosphere, we
have decided to continue and organize another conference in 2007 with
a broader scope.
The planned topics will include
- time-frequency analysis
- wavelet theory
- pseudodifferential operators
- sparse representations and probabilistic methods
- computational methods
- applications in signal and image processing
