Strobl is a very nice village in the lake region of the province of Salzburg and has proven to be a stimulating and very pleasant conference site. Our previous conferences were devoted to the topics Sampling Theory and Applications (2003) Modern Methods of Time-Frequency Analysis (2005) Trends in Harmonic Analysis (2007) and have attracted about 100 - 130 participants. Since these conferences were marked by a congenial and productive atmosphere, we have decided to continue and organize another conference in 2009 with a broader scope.
