Sampling as a long tradition at NuHAG
(the Numerical Harmonic Analysis Group, Vienna),
from the beginning. It was always viewed as a field where diff erent
subjects have to come together:

mathematical modeling;
numerical algorithms
theoretical foundations
harmonic analysis
function spaces
good links to the real world
